Started editing on MBz to help with AudioScrobbler (now last.fm) moderations waaaaaay back in 2004 and just seemed to have stuck around ever since.rnrnI usually edit within the rap/R&B genres. Sometimes via clicking endless links I'll end up in pop, electronic, or some unrelated genre, and then when I find one error propagated in endless locations I can't help but fix 'em all. It's a madness! I tend not to mess with Japanese or classical style, they're a minefield of weirdness. I've learned my lessons trying in the past and I leave those to the experts.rnrnI also find myself tidying up artists with common names that have become a random release dumping ground. Thumbs up for disambiguation comments. Thumbs down to people who don't read them. Big thumbs down to featured artists who have common names and little to no information anywhere as to who/what they are, they confuse EVERYBODY.rnrnI'm not going to get over-zealous with 'proper' punctuation. Capitalisation standards I can deal with, but I'm on a computer so ASCII rules. MBz is not my English lesson.rnrnI've warmed to features in the artist field. Shame though, that Picard can't automatically enter feature credits before ETI - 'Song A (feat. Artist B) (Artist C mix)', for example.rnrnI also now find myself doing clean-ups as well as removing data so ModBot can have at it. Really annoying, as it usually ends up being the same old re-added shite which I fixed previously. And they're not hip-hop.. I don't even like these artists!rnrnEditors who add messy releases get The Gas Face, especially when they don't leave proper edit notes. 'CD in hand' for example, because this exact line used to be the suggested edit note you should leave, and you don't have a barcode/cat#, or are adding an iTunes release.. derpz. Or you type in any old crap to get past the warning (you Know who you are.. oK?)rnrn=rnrn2017-05rnSo... editing nowadays tends to leave a bad taste in my mouth. I don't check my subscriptions nearly as often as I used to, and a recent period of doing hefty, constant clean-ups on a certain few shitty casual editors who cared very little about accuracy and honesty in their own edits has made the whole editing and re-editing process a real chore. MBz was (and still is) an open wiki for said shitty casual editors to create vanity pages for 'projects' that either don't exist, or have incredibly tenuous, non-3rd party evidence for their existence. Because of that, and the fact that anybody can create literally any page for themselves just as long as there's any old URL for it gives me the impression that MBz can and may slowly turn into a FreeDB for digital media, which I don't care for. Some of the more recent style changes (or undo's?) and general guidelines aren't really my cup-of-tea either. That's the direction that this site is headed however, so be it. No point being vocal about how doing 'a, b & c' back in the day instead of 'x, y & z' now was better. That noise can stay penned off in this bio. Change is bound to happen.rnrnI'll still do the odd edit-burst of an artist/label/associates now and then, maybe add a missing release or 2 when I need them (Picard is still, for the most part the best thing about MBz) but right now doing more than that doesn't seem like much fun or worth the effort.rnrnAt least I can manually edit within Picard.. :)rnrn=rnrn2018-rnI've come to the conclusion that policing (or trying to police) those certain editors is not what I'm here for. I have therefore deleted those editors and their crappy artists & labels from my subscriptions feed. Seeing their garbage appear in my sub emails daily/weekly was probably the biggest factor towards making editing suck. MBz may still turn into FreeDB, but until then ignoring the forces behind that eventual transformation is best for my sanity, I think.rnrn=rnrn2019-01rnMy main PC rig died back in October 2018, and trying to navigate this site on my old laptop sucks. I also don't have as much time to edit as I used to. Yes, real life got real. So I guess I'm on indefinite hiatus from editing.rnrnrnlinks to remember:rnrnhttp://wiki.musicbrainz.org/Style/Titles/Featured_artists and http://musicbrainz.org/doc/How_to_Use_Artist_Creditsrnhttp://wiki.musicbrainz.org/Style/Artist/With_multiple_namesrnhttp://wiki.musicbrainz.org/Extra_Title_Informationrnhttp://musicbrainz.org/doc/Style#Language_specific_guidelinesrnrnhttps://musicbrainz.org/edit/26197417 ('production music')rn','website':null,'is_wiki_transcluder':false,'gravatar':'//gravatar.com/avatar/9b1c744400c7f321fad9d854f85513e4?d=mm','birth_date':null,'entityType':'editor','email_confirmation_date':'2008-05-03T09:30:14Z','is_relationship_editor':false,'id':81537,'is_auto_editor':true,'is_bot':false,'preferences':{'subscribe_to_created_series':true,'subscribe_to_created_labels':false,'email_on_vote':true,'public_tags':false,'email_on_notes':true,'email_on_no_vote':true,'subscribe_to_created_artists':false,'public_subscriptions':true,'show_gravatar':true,'datetime_format':'%Y-%m-%d %H:%M %Z','timezone':'Europe/London','subscriptions_email_period':'weekly','public_ratings':false},'is_admin':false,'is_location_editor':false,'email':'battlewax@gmail.com','deleted':false}}}}'>Annotation

Two rare sports cars found parked in a North Carolina garage on an episode of the popular car enthusiast YouTube channel 'Barn Find Hunter' have sold for $3.5million.
The 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/2 Alloy Longnose and 1967 Shelby 427 Cobra were put up for auction at the Gooding & Company auction in Amelia Island,Florida after classic car expert Tom Cotter stumbled across them in January.
Cotter, who hosts Hagerty's 'The Barn Find Hunter', filmed the once-in-a-lifetime find for the YouTube series calling the discovery a 'dream'.

According to Fox News, both cars sold on Friday for a combined $3,575,000.
The Ferrari was initially priced at $1million but that price quickly climbed to $2.53million. The Cobra sold for $1,045,000.
It's not clear if both cars were purchased by the same person.
Cotter said he came across the cars after the owner contacted him wanting to sell the cars because the North Carolina home they were being stored at was going to be demolished.
The owner, who was not identified, said he had parked the sports cars in his garage in 1991 following the death of his trusted mechanic in a motorcycle race.
The owner did not want anyone else working on the classic cars so he left them in the garage, untouched for decades.

Both cars were covered in dust and cobwebs, and mice had made a home in the trunk of the Cobra, but they were in good condition and their engines started up right away.

Hidden in the garage was also a V8-powered Morgan and a Triumph TR6, but the owner decided to keep those cars.
